Welcome to AsterBead. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, products, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By browsing our store, placing an order, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Who We Are

AsterBead is an online store operated from Jiangxi, China, specialising in make-your-own beaded bracelets. Throughout these Terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to AsterBead, and "you" refers to the customer using the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your country of residence to place an order. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

3. Product Customisation and Accuracy

Our store allows you to build a bracelet by selecting individual beads, spacers, and charms. Because every piece is assembled to your specification, the finished bracelet may differ slightly from on-screen previews in bead colour, veining, and natural pattern. Natural stone and wood beads vary by nature; these variations are not defects.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue any bead or component, and refuse or cancel orders that appear to be placed for resale or by automated means.

4. Pricing, Payment, and Currency

All prices are displayed in US dollars (USD) and exclude any applicable import duties or taxes, which are the buyer's responsibility. Prices are subject to change without notice. Where a price is listed incorrectly, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

Payment is processed at checkout through our payment providers. By submitting payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

5. Orders and Acceptance

Your order is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when we send an order confirmation email. We may decline any order, including where we suspect fraud, where the item is unavailable, or where a pricing error has occurred.

6. Shipping and Returns

Production, delivery, and customs terms are set out in our Shipping Policy. Return and refund conditions are set out in our Refund Policy. Both documents form part of these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Services — including product photography, bracelet designs, text, graphics, logos, and the store's overall appearance — is owned by or licensed to AsterBead and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission. Personal, non-commercial use, such as sharing a product page link, is permitted.

8. User Content

If you submit reviews, photographs, or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and reproduce that content in connection with our store. You confirm that you own the content and that it does not infringe any third party's rights. We may remove content that is unlawful, misleading, or offensive.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Services to violate any law, infringe any right, transmit malware, scrape or harvest data, interfere with the operation of the store, or submit false or fraudulent information.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.

We are not liable for any allergic reaction or skin sensitivity arising from a bead material. If you have a known metal or stone allergy, please contact us before ordering so we can advise on suitable components.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold AsterBead harmless from claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict of law rules. Nothing here deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when posted, and the "Last updated" date will be changed accordingly. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance.
